Dear Resident:

             Borough Council is trying to keep the town safe and clean. 

            Towards that goal, Borough Council has authorized the street sweeper and the enforcement of the no parking signs to continue to the end of the day on Friday, December 14, 2007. 

            Between now and December 14, 2007, the sweeper will follow its normal schedule.  Also where the leaves prevent the sweeper to normally operate, the Borough public works employees will vacuum the leaves from the gutter.

            Please remember per Borough Ordinance #724, leaves are not to be placed in the street.  Leaves may be placed in brown paper bio-degradable bags or loose in trash cans and placed curbside for pickup every Wednesday ending December 12, 2007.
